What's the Difference?
Life Coaching is the process where you are supported in bridging the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
Whilst a Holistic Counselling session tends to be more focused on healing the past so that you can move forward.
Life Coaching is solution-focused; the sessions involve moving forward and taking the appropriate steps to be the ideal version of yourself.
Counselling is about exploring what keeps you stuck and exploring those areas so that you can move past them.
At Simply Flourish, I provide our clients with the canvas to write a new chapter, set goals, and ultimately achieve them.
I combine Life Coaching with Holistic Counselling tools and Psychotherapy to assist you in creating new possibilities for the future to create your ideal lives.
To treat a client holistically is to consider the whole person, i.e. typically mind-body-spirit. The holistic counsellor's goal is to assist the client in bringing balance into their entire lives and ensure the client is in touch with their own needs on a holistic level.
Holistic healing is based on the theory that one element of a person cannot be healthy without all of the other aspects of the person being in balance and harmony. (The mind will not be well if the body is not well; the body will not be well if the spirit is not well, etc.).
